The Imam’s opinion and views on governance and the difference between a fagih’s ruling and a governmental ruling are of great importance in jurisprudential governance. The Imam’s jurisprudential school of thought discusses the matter of governance, politics and power at length. Hujjat al-Islam Sa’eed Ziya’ei Fard, who is a howza intellectual and researcher, talked about the Imam’s jurisprudential school of thought at the gathering discussing Imam Khomeini’s jurisprudential school of thought.

Ayatollah Sayyid Noor Mofidi, who is the Supreme Leader’s representative in Golestan and the leader of the Friday congregational prayers in Gorgan, talked of Imam Khomeini’s insistence on the unity of Muslims and its importance. He also talked of the Supreme Leader’s help in guiding Muslims towards unity and in neutralizing the plots of the enemies of Islam.

Sayyid Abul Hassan Navvab, who is the head of the University of Religious Studies, talked about the current relationship between Christians and Muslims, and that they need to be mended by holding talks. He further pointed out that the Imam talked of the ‘Prophets of God’ many times in his speeches, and always showed his respect to them. In addition Muslims have never insulted the prophet of any Godly religion.
