Speaking at the opening session of the Kuala Lumpur Summit 2019 in the Malaysian capital on Thursday, President Hassan Rouhanipointed to his proposal for the World Against Violence and Extremism (WAVE), which was adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2013, as a basis for efforts to end hostilities and promote peace, dialog and friendship among Islamic nations.
